Lydia Imperiale is a lifelong athlete. After playing college athletics she set her sights on new goals, which is what got her hooked on running. She completed her first marathon in 2000 and hasn't stopped since. Lydia has completed 30 marathons all over the country. She has qualified and run The Boston Marathon 13 times. Lydia's current marathon PR is 3:03 (Chicago Marathon 2019). She has a personal best at The Boston Marathon of 3:03 (2023). Lydia has also completed the Boston to Big Sur challenge, running both the Boston Marathon and Big Sur Marathons back to back. Lydia loves all distances and has run hundreds of races ranging from 5ks, 5 milers, 10ks, 10 milers, half marathons and of course marathons. She loves to incorporate these shorter races into her marathon training programs.
Lydia has a level 1 coaching certification from Road Runners club of America. Lydia has worked as a running coach and Run coordinator for Life Time athletics, and currently is a Run lead for their Run club.
When Lydia isn't running she is out on the field or track cheering on her 3 children. She has coached many levels of youth sports including high school lacrosse and field hockey. Middle school track and field as well as elementary lacrosse.
